Networking

Networks that stay fast as you grow.

From a home that needs Wi-Fi in every room to an office rolling out sixty desks — surveyed properly, cabled to standard, segmented so one noisy device cannot slow everything down, and handed over with documentation you actually own.

  • Coverage survey before any purchase
  • Cat6 certified per point
  • VLAN segmentation
  • Full as-built documentation

What we are usually called in for

Home Wi-Fi

Dead zones, slow speeds and connections that drop. We measure each room, then recommend repositioning, a mesh node or a wired access point — whichever the survey actually supports.

Office LAN

Switch specification, VLANs for staff, guests, CCTV and VoIP, cabling to each desk, patch panel dressing and a documented port map.

Structured Cabling

Cat6 and Cat6A runs in conduit or tray, terminated, labelled at both ends and certified for continuity and throughput point by point.

Router & Switch Setup

Firmware updates, credential hardening, DHCP reservations, PoE budgeting, link aggregation and loop protection — with the configuration backed up to you.

Firewall & VPN

Policy design against your real workflows, site-to-site and remote-access VPN, content filtering and intrusion prevention, documented at handover.

Troubleshooting

Intermittent drops and slow speeds diagnosed with proper testing tools rather than guesswork, with written findings you can take to your ISP if the fault is theirs.

How a network project runs

  1. 1

    Survey

Signal measurement, cable route planning, device count and an understanding of how your team actually works.

  2. 2

    Design

A written network design: switch and access point specification, VLAN plan, IP addressing and a cost breakdown.

  3. 3

    Install

Cabling, termination, rack build and configuration — usually scheduled for a weekend on live offices.

  4. 4

    Document & support

Port map, IP plan and credentials handed over. Optional AMC for monitoring and priority response.

Questions

Networking questions we hear most

Often not. In roughly a third of the calls we attend, repositioning the router and correcting the channel configuration solves it at no equipment cost. Our technician measures signal in each room before recommending anything, and will say so if hardware is not the problem.
